kitchen dreaming

i have big plans for my kitchen. of course these plans take lots of time and lots of $... and let's be honest i don't have a ton of either just lying around. hah! but here is a peek of what i would LOVE to do in my kitchen.
here is what it looks like now.

paint our table like this with a little extra distressing (ignore the multi colored chairs, and just look at the table)
